How to make Kiwi matcha ice-cream – the no-fuss, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free delight

Kiwi matcha ice cream – the method

Ahead of time

– freeze –

2 x peeled and cut into quarters, medium sized bananas

3 x peeled and sliced kiwifruit

This will give you enough ice-cream to serve 4 people a good size scoop

Other ingredients you will need;

approx 1 cup of plain coconut yoghurt

2 tsp of matcha green tea (loose powder)

to make the ice cream

Put all the ingredients into a powerful blender and blitz.

If needed, add a little more yoghurt so the blender will turn and mix everything into a smooth ice-cream

Serve immediately.

I thought later I could have thrown in some pistachio nuts at the last minute to give the ice-cream extra texture, so I ground them and sprinkled them over the top. Perfect.

You can successfully freeze your Kiwi matcha ice cream again for another day.
